Step 1

Start the Wyoming corporation filing process by going to the Wyoming Secretary of State’s business filing website online at: https://wyobiz.wy.gov/Business/Default.aspx

Click Form or Register a New Business to officialy begin the application for a new corporation in Wyoming.

Step 2

Click the “Start Now!” green button on the right side to begin your Wyoming incorporation process online.  This will take you to your business entity choice selection.

Step 3

Choose the type of Wyoming company that you are going to file online. Choose corporation.  Agree to the terms that are imposed and click next to officially start.

Step 4

Enter in your new Wyoming Corporation name.  If you need to do a Wyoming Corporation name search, go here for information on that subject.  You will not be allowed by the state to file a name that is already taken by a limited liability company that has been filed.  Confirm the corporation business name to avoid any mistakes when typing and click next to continue your online incorporation.

Step 5

Enter in your new Wyoming Corporation’s stock information.  Choose if you want common stock, preferred stock, or both.  In the case of preferred stock, those shareholders will be paid before common shareholders.  That is the idea behind a preferred stock.  You will also choose how many shares of stock the WY Corporation will have and how much each stock is worth in dollars.  You may enter a no par value if the stock is worthless at the current time.

Step 6

Enter the official corporate addresses for your Wyoming Corporation.  You can use our registered office address in Wyoming to keep yourself private in the public eye.  The mailing address is where you will receive mail for your Wyoming Corporation.  This does not have to be a Wyoming address.  For privacy reasons, clients use our address in Wyoming.  Wyoming Registered Agent offers free Wyoming mail forwarding.

Step 7

List the Incorporator information. This is a required step.  Wyoming Registered Agent can provide this information when you order a new Wyoming Corporation through our filing service.  You can never remove a name off of public record once it is entered as an incorporator.  Be careful on this step.

If you have any additional articles to file other than the standard required Wyoming Articles of Incorporation, you will have the opportunity to do so now.  You can list things such as a purpose statement for a corporation, who the officers and their titiles are, or maybe the complete list of names for the corporations board of directors.

You will now confirm your Wyoming Corporation filing information, e-sign for the filing and make a payment with your credit or debit card.
