Step 1
Start by going to the Wyoming Secretary of State’s business filing website to initiate the online Wyoming limited liability company process: https://wyobiz.wy.gov/Business/Default.aspx

Click the “Start Now!” button that is in neon green on the right side of the dialof section. This will bring you to the entity choice step.

Choose the type of Wyoming entity that you want to file. In this case, we are going with an LLC (limited liability company). Agree to the terms handed down by the state of Wyoming and then click next to continue.
Step 4
Enter the name of the WY LLC and confirm the name by entering it a second time to avoid any typos. The name must include limited liability company, limited liability co, llc, l.l.c., or an equivilant attachment of company designation. Click next for the next step in the llc filing process.
Step 5
Choose time related issues for the Wyoming Limited Liability Company. Will the company live on through a perpetual life or will an end date be set in stone. If you choose not to have an end date, you can close the llc at anytime by filing dissolution paperwork.
Step 6
Enter the Wyoming Registered Agent information. Do not fill out the first and last name. Enter Wyoming Registered Agent under Organization and search. Click the agent and the information for the registered agent will automatically populate. To get consent from Wyoming Registered Agent, simply order the $99 yearly agent service and you will be ready and in compliance.
Step 7
Enter the Wyoming Limited liability companies official registered addresses. These are the Wyoming LLC’s principal office and mailing address on state record. You can use our registered street address in Cheyenne, Wyoming when you hire Wyoming Registered Agent for your registered agent in Wyoming. You may also list any address that you wish outside of Wyoming. Only the registered agent address must be listed in Wyoming to be compliant with the Wyoming Secretary of State.
Step 8
Enter the WY Limited Liability Co Organizer information. You can enter more than one Organizer for the formation of the Wyoming limited liability company. Be aware that once you list an Organizer on public record, it can never be removed. Once you have entered all the Organizers of the WYoming llc, click next for the next step for the filing. Remember that the application is on a time limit, so do not dilly-dally.
Step 9
Enter any additional WY LLC article if desired. The wizard requires the mandatory articles. But if you have additional custom Wyoming LLC articles, this is where you can list them. An example would be naming the Wyoming Managers/Members or stating a purpose of the Wyoming Limited Liability Company. There is no limit in the information you can list for these articles.
Step 10
You will now confirm your Wyoming LLC filing information, e-sign for the filing and make a payment with your credit or debit card. The cost will be $102. That is the standard $100 filing fee, plus a $2 charge for the luxury of filing online.
